The Flowie water flow sensor is an intelligent water flow monitor and leak detector with simple DIY installation, featuring 5 sensors in 1 unit, that wraps around your city water meter and monitors flow through your city meter to learn your water use patterns and identify leaks outside of your normal use to lower water bills and prevent damage. The cellular Flowie sensor hub also sends instant alerts to your phone or computer for power outages, temperature, humidity, leaks, and unusual water usage and can be used to deploy a water sensor-only installation, or a combination water and flow sensor installation when there is a city meter present.

The Flowie cellular sensor and hub also monitors and sends instant alerts to your phone or computer for power outages, temperature, humidity, leaks, and unusual water usage.
Flowie is designed for use with indoor water meters but can also be used as a cellular hub only, for communication with the Floodie accessory water sensors if you don’t have a city water meter and need to relay on notification-only water sensors. The Floodie water sensors detect water in sink cabinets or on the floor near water-drawing appliances and can be used for leak detection and alerts in conjunction with Flowie flow monitoring, or as the only source of leak detection when you are on a well or multi-residential supply configurations with many supply lines from shared communal hot and cold water risers. This is the application where the Flowie can be used strictly as a cellular communications hub for the floor sensor network.
In addition to helping you catch plumbing leaks and minimize property damage, Flowie can provide insights from your water use data to help you save big on water costs. The Alert Labs Dashboard and Mobile App keep a record of all water events at properties and it monitors and shows:
