WATERCOP LEAK STOP

The Leak Stop is a is simple and economical point of use device that performs as a leak detection and water shut-off valve at a single point in the water supply to protect the house from damage from hot water heaters or other high-risk appliances.

This lead free valve should be installed in the plumbing line upstream of and near to the appliance or area to be protected and the two (2) hard-wired sensor probes should be placed in the area you are trying to protect or where water would accumulate if that appliance leaked. If water touches the sensor probes, the valve will close to stop water flow anywhere beyond the valve installation point. Once the leak is resolved, simply dry off the sensor and the leak location and press the green “Open” button to restore water. For convenience, the valve can also be manually opened and closed with the Green water on and Red water off buttons on the face of the actuator. All of these features are standard on the basic LeakStop model but an upgraded version can be ordered that also has an alarm interface option for notification when the valve has detected a leak.
