WIFI Leak Defender RS Water Detection and Shut-Off System

How it Works

When water is detected in your basement, Leak Defender RS suspends power to your well pump, stopping the flow of water from the well and triggers an 80-decibel audio alarm and will send you a WIFI message to alert you of the problem. It works with new or existing well pump systems, and it does not require an external power source. The well pump powers it. Once the leak has been stopped and sensors are dry, pressing a button on the sensor restores power to the well pump. Sensor will work with or without WIFI messaging.

Unlike less reliable systems, Leak Defender RS does not use shutoff valves. Installation is easy and takes about 30 minutes.  It comes with two cable output connectors for multiple sensors, alarm module accessory and extension cables and will accept up to ten sensors at a max distance of 600 feet. This system uses a relay inline with the power either to a pressure switch or constant pressure controller for water pressure regulation.

Alarm Module Option

• OPTION with Alarm Module uses a relay that will close a dry contact connected to a Normally Open connection to an alarm if a leak is detected and also will accept a Normally Open dry contact connection from the alarm to activate the system.
